Beginning with the weekend of April 25, at the Saturday 5:30pm Vigil Mass, Holy Family will bless expectant mothers, their spouses, and families. The “Rite for the Blessing of a Child in the Womb” will be offered after the Homily on the 4th Saturday of the month, every four months.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops states “The Church welcomes with joy and compassion the mothers who, recognizing that all life is a gift from God, come to the Church seeking a blessing for their unborn child.”

During this next year, the blessing will take place on the following Saturday 5:30pm Vigil Masses: 

August 23, 2026

December 27, 2026
