New reports of scam phishing emails that appear to be from Fr. Dankasa requesting gift cards and financial assistance.

We have been notified by parishioners that they are being targeted by scammers. If you receive a phishing email that looks like it is from Fr. Jacob, please verify the sender. Any email from Holy Family always comes from {name}@holyfamilychurch.net or mail@flocknote.com. Anything else should be deleted.

These scams prey on our best instincts to help.

We are not alone, these scams are happening across the country and we may as well consider this a long term situation. Email addresses are easy to fake so we must always be on guard.
