The Parish Office staff invites the entire Parish to join us in wishing Father Dankasa blessings on the 21st Anniversary of his Ordination on July 17, 2025!
Father Dankasa, whose name means “Son of the Land”, was born in Nigeria. He was ordained a Catholic priest in 2004 and came to the United States in 2008. He has been a priest for the Diocese of Dallas since July 2010. Father Dankasa has said that being a priest is the biggest gift God has given him, and he loves sharing his priesthood with others.
His Ordination Anniversary is a day we all should recognize, as twenty years ago our Pastor was ordained a Priest of the Roman Catholic Church, and became a leader, mentor, spiritual guide and friend for thousands of Catholics over these past twenty years, and today for those of us at Holy Family.
SPIRITUAL BOUQUET
Father Dankasa has requested that each of us pray a decade of the Rosary for him on July 17. In addition, you're invited to consider joining in a DAY of prayer for him with the gift of a spiritual bouquet. "Spiritual bouquets are devotional acts and prayers said on behalf of someone and their intentions."
