Together with millions of young Catholics from around the world—and with the Holy Father—we will celebrate our faith, grow in community, and experience the universal Church in a powerful way.

What Is World Youth Day?

World Youth Day (WYD) is an international gathering of young people centered on Jesus Christ. Established by St. John Paul II, WYD brings together pilgrims from every nation for:

• A deeper experience of the Catholic faith
